November 14, 2019 (AO) – Somaliland President Musa Bihi Abdi is expected to travel to Nairobi, the Kenyan capital at the end of November.
It is not yet clear if President Bihi has received an official invitation from the Kenyan government.
As per reliable sources confirmed for Geeska Afrika, president Bihi is expected to hold face to face meeting with Kenyan president, Uhuru Kenyatta.
Senior politicians from Kenya have arranged Somaliland president to embark on visit to Kenya.
Once Bihi confers with Uhuru, he will be the third Somaliland Head of State to have met with Kenyan sitting president.
The late Somaliland president Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal met with Daniel Arab Moi.
Egal’s successor, Dahir Rayale Kahin also met with Kibiabi, the former Kenyan leader.
Several Kenyan politicians asserted that President Bihi from Somaliland will travel to Kenya before the end of this year.
